We speak in Spanish 100% of the day! We like to say that we don’t teach Spanish, we teach IN Spanish.
-
Not at all. Our owner is a trained Spanish teacher with a solid understanding of what is called “comprehensible input.” We design our days and our lessons so that our children can follow context clues. Also, children are quite eager to figure things out and rise to the occasion of learning another language. If we feel we need to use English to manage a situation, we will, but sparingly.
-
No. However, we do ask that children be fully potty trained if they are attending without pull-ups. We define fully potty trained as a child who is able to identify whether they need to use the restroom (both #1 and #2) and tell an adult that they need a restroom, unprompted. If your child isn’t there yet, please have them attend in pull-ups.

All parents will be invited to join the Brightwheel application. We use this app for check-in and check-out. We also use the app for messaging parents, uploading photos, logging diaper changes, etc.
